Want to go on a real archaeological dig in Italy? Sign up now for the USC Summer Archaeological Excavation at Ostia Antica! This fun and fascinating excavation runs from June 10-July 21, 2013. Those interested in participating should email Dr. John Pollini at pollini@usc.edu.

There are no prerequisites, nor is any knowledge of Italian required, since all instruction is in English. Students live in shared apartments in Rome and commute to Ostia via the metro. The first week of this 6 week program is comprised of all-day walking tours of Rome. Students in any field of study can participate. The deadline for the housing deposit is Feb. 15.
